Happy Family Dinner – A Night of Slavic Warmth and Culture

Last Friday, 27th June at 5pm, our community came together for the beautiful Happy Family Dinner, organised by MCNT. Families and friends gathered to celebrate the rich traditions of Slavic culture, sharing smiles, stories, and delicious home-cooked meals.
We prepared many favourite Slavic dishes that reminded us of our childhood kitchens – from hearty Plov and
Pelmeny to beautifully baked pastries. The hall was filled with the comforting aromas of our heritage.
Guests enjoyed amazing performances by our talented children, who danced with bright energy and pure joy. Their folk dances brought colour and life to the evening, and everyone was so proud to see them sharing our traditions on stage.
The night also featured the gentle beauty of classical music and timeless Slavic waltzes, creating a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere for everyone to relax, connect, and reflect on the importance of family and community.
We thank each person who visited us, supported us, and made this evening so special. Events like this remind us how important it is to stay united, keep our culture alive, and teach our children the beauty of our traditions.
